Worth a listen and re-read, if you have the chance。 It not only speaks about the practical method of making wealth, but the mental。 The need to have the right mental attitude to grow rich。 The best part, in my opinion, is that anyone can start anywhere, at any time。 We may be stuck today, but can improve on tomorrow。 I think this is true today, as much as it was true when first published。

Thought provokingWise counsel。 I am putting these principles into practice one day at a time, one page at a time。 Thank you。

This is a good book about money/gaining wealth but I would not recommend it as an introductory finance book。 Think and Grow Rich is a deep book that brings up American icons such as Andrew Carnegie, Rockefeller, Vanderbilt, Ford, etc。 and how they were able to accumulate great wealth and success。 If you are looking for an introductory finance book I would pick up Rich Dad Poor Dad, Learn to Earn, or one of the other well known intro books。

The book is great。 It does show a path that you should follow。 It's quiet inspiring but not affirmative, what I mean is it won't give you a strategy but rather give you information/tips and psychological facts that are indeed helpful。 The book is great。 It does show a path that you should follow。 It's quiet inspiring but not affirmative, what I mean is it won't give you a strategy but rather give you information/tips and psychological facts that are indeed helpful。 。。。more

This book is somehow overexciting its own description。 Almost in ever chapter there is a saying that "after reading this book, your life will change and you will become a different version of yourself。 The fact is that the concept and the so called "steps towards riches" are obvious once。 Besides, nothing in this books specifies any thing about business。 I'm a business student and I can say that confidently。 The book is more of a psychology and human development than business。 This book is somehow overexciting its own description。 Almost in ever chapter there is a saying that "after reading this book, your life will change and you will become a different version of yourself。 The fact is that the concept and the so called "steps towards riches" are obvious once。 Besides, nothing in this books specifies any thing about business。 I'm a business student and I can say that confidently。 The book is more of a psychology and human development than business。 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 I like the idea of the book。 It gives you the general points to work on which we already know or have encountered from our elders once in lifetime。 But this book explains each point in good detail。 When in doubt or worry I would like re-read this book。 When pondered on the name of the book I thought there would be some points related to financial balance。 All in all this was great experience to read this book as to know why we need to follow these few points listed below。This book mainly attract I like the idea of the book。 It gives you the general points to work on which we already know or have encountered from our elders once in lifetime。 But this book explains each point in good detail。 When in doubt or worry I would like re-read this book。 When pondered on the name of the book I thought there would be some points related to financial balance。 All in all this was great experience to read this book as to know why we need to follow these few points listed below。This book mainly attracts on the below principles : - To have a burning desire to achieve whatever you want to achieve。- Have faith and visualisation will help you attain your burning desire。- Auto suggestions which mainly influences your subconscious mind。- Imagination the most powerful tool to imagine oneself being in the situation where he/she wants to be at。- Leave procrastination behind step forward out of you comfort zone。- Be persistent。 As to continually thinking and working towards whatever one want to achieve。Even if failures are encountered not giving up。 Sometime or day will come if you continuously work to achieve the same thing you will eventually get better at it。- Fear is nothing。 We have fear in our minds。 While we were child we were not much afraid of asking things in public because we know we would be taken for granted as we are child。 So why to think about other while putting up questions。 Outwit the fears you have。 These few points attracted me on personal level。These we are already aware of but the way it is mentioned in the book is extremely powerful。 。。。more

The only "self-help" book you will ever need。 It covers everything you need to make a change in your life。 I've always wanted to read it, but considering the year it was written and the fact that it is considered a "self-help" book, I've constantly postponed my reading until I had the chance to listen the audiobook。 I got hooked and I read it。 *Now, I believe I have all the tools and the mind set necessary to make my life better。 I also recognize that all my "failures" comes from my tendency to The only "self-help" book you will ever need。 It covers everything you need to make a change in your life。 I've always wanted to read it, but considering the year it was written and the fact that it is considered a "self-help" book, I've constantly postponed my reading until I had the chance to listen the audiobook。 I got hooked and I read it。 *Now, I believe I have all the tools and the mind set necessary to make my life better。 I also recognize that all my "failures" comes from my tendency to quit。 A QUITTER NEVER WINS - AND A WINNER NEVER QUITSApart from what I've gained from this book, I enjoyed the whole explanation about how the brain works, what thoughts are and how they affect us。 I strongly recommend it to everyone, and so far it is the only book I personally recommended to my friends。 It is so valuable。 * My opinion about "self help" book explained: I tried to get into the genre, but the few books I tried to read weren't as clear as this one。 Some of them were about manifestation or also mentioned the power of thinking, but I never grasp why the various authors were saying so。 This led me to believe that these kind of books are of no real value for common people and I almost never read them to the end。 That is why I was a bit biased。 (Another reason could be that at that time I was not ready to "receive" the message)。 。。。more

Fantastic book。 People often either misinterpret or make assumptions that he is going to spout wisdom as shallow as The Secret。 Hill, while similar, acknowledges that achieving your dreams will take a lot of determination and persistence。 Modern cognitive science supports the claims made in the book。 It is a classic for a reason。

Quotes I liked: “The only thing you can control is a state of mind。 A state of mind is something that is up to you。 It cannot be purchased, it must be created。” “You have absolute control over only one thing, and that is your thoughts。 This is the most significant and inspiring of all facts known to humans。 It reflects our divine nature。 This ability to control your thoughts is the sole means by which you may control your destiny。 If you fail to control your mind you may be sure you will control Quotes I liked: “The only thing you can control is a state of mind。 A state of mind is something that is up to you。 It cannot be purchased, it must be created。” “You have absolute control over only one thing, and that is your thoughts。 This is the most significant and inspiring of all facts known to humans。 It reflects our divine nature。 This ability to control your thoughts is the sole means by which you may control your destiny。 If you fail to control your mind you may be sure you will control nothing else。 Your mind is your spiritual estate。 Protects and use it with the care to which divine royalty is entitled。 You were given your willpower for this purpose。” “Mind control is the result of self discipline and habit。 You either control your mind or it controls you。 There is no halfway compromise。 The most practical method for controlling your mind us the habit of keeping it busy with the definite plan。” 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 This is the definition of oldie but goodie。 I feel as if this is a timeless book。 The information in it is still very pertinent。 One thing that stuck out to me was towards the end when he mentioned the influenza outbreak of his time, comparable to the Coronavirus outbreak that we have been facing for over a year now, and how once the news stopped headlining it, it went away。 Could that be our solution?

Dropei。 Muita historinha e não é o tipo de autoajuda legal。 Tem até conselhos bons, como persistência, esse tipo de coisa, mas eu posso ver isso em livros melhores。 A vida é curta pra ficar lendo coisa ruim。
